Gender-disaggregated data case studies

Gender-disaggregated data case studies

Gender-differentiated data and information must be available for NHRIs to be able to assess the situation and develop appropriate, evidence-based responses, recommendations and advice. Such data must be collected and analysed within the policy-making process, ideally covering several years to track changes and take corrective action.

The following article by the OECD outlines some examples of gender-disaggregated data at the national level and includes actions to consider, and avoid when collecting data related to gender.
